தமிழ் சிவில் சமூகத்துக்கு ஆங்கிலத்தில் பதிலளித்த சம்பந்தன் - கடிதம் இணைப்பு

வடக்கு கிழக்கு இணைக்கப்படுவதுடன் அதற்கான முழுமையான ஆட்சி அதிகாரம் வேண்டும் அத்துடன் தமிழ்மொழி ஆட்சி மொழியாக இருக்க வேண்டுமென்றெல்லாம் அரசாங்கத்திடம் கேட்பதாகக் கூறி போலிக் கண்ணீர் வடித்து வரும் தமிழ்த் தேசியக் கூட்டமைப்பினரும் தலைவர் இரா.சம்பந்தனும் தமிழ் மக்களை காலம் காலமாக ஏமாற்றி வருவதனை மறுப்பதற்கில்லை.

அண்மையில் தமிழ் சிவில் சமூகத்தினால் தமிழ்த் தேசியக் கூட்டமைப்பு பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்ட கடிதத்துக்கு பதிலளிக்கும் விதத்தில் மன்னார் ஆயர் இராயப்பு ஜோசப் அவர்களுக்கு நேற்று இரா.சம்பந்தன் கடிதம் அனுப்பியுள்ளார், தமிழை ஆட்சி மொழியாக அமைக்குமாறு கோருவதாக மக்களை ஏமாற்றும் கூட்டமைப்பினர் ஆயருக்கு அனுப்பிய கடிதத்தை ஆங்கிலத்தில் எழுயுள்ளார், ஆயரும் தமிழர், அவர்கள் எழுதி அனுப்பிய கடிதமும் தமிழ்மொழியில் அமைந்திருந்தது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Dear Rev. Sir,

I am in receipt of the letter sent by you and some others to the notice of the members of Parliament of the Tamil National Alliance, certain issues pertaining to the Tamil people. We have been busy with several matters and I regret the delay in responding.

The copy of the letter received by me has not been signed by anyone, though the names of several persons have been referred to as purported signatories. Nevertheless, I have decided to send you a response, as you are the first of several persons referred to as senders. I observe that the said letter has also received publicity in the media. Hence, I will release this response to the media.

It is not always possible to release to the public, all matters that take place in our talks with the Government. Our talks are however so structured to ensure that any political solution will be reasonable, workable and durable, and that it will conform to the aspirations of the majority of our people.

We are prepared to meet and discuss with you and others all matters raised in the aforesaid letter. Arrangements for such a meeting can be finalized on hearing from you.
